The CX112 is a multi purpose compact speaker designed for use in mid size, band, conference install and monitoring situations.

Its size makes it idealy suited for low visual impact work, its light weight ((common neodymium magnet system for both drive units) makes it a breeze for “one man” jobs in the hire sector.

The asymetrical angled sides of the box give it the ability to be utilised a near or medium field monitor as well as being able to tuck neatly into a corner for installs.

With excellent frequency response from 60 to 20kHz it can be used alone for speech or is well suited to be used above the SB18 sub bass unit to give full frequency music reproduction.

The 700W programme power and highly efficient HF driver mean this cabinet can produce a suprising amount of SPL. The coaxial configuration ensures great point source clarity in voice reproduction.

Built into the box are multiple hanging points, a four point “Powerdrive” compatible mounting plate for wallmounting and a “top hat” for pole mounting .

High build quality is essential of any speaker cabinet to ensure that the cabinet itself does not vibrate and soak up potential energy that could be delivered as intended out of the front of the box. The CX112 is no exception and is built entirely by hand in our workshop utilising 15mm birch ply and extensively routed glued and screwed throughout.
