The ASYM 2D2 is a 2-way bi amp enclosure that incorporates 2 x 12" 450Watt neodymium mid/bass drivers and a 1.4" 80Watt neodymium compression driver.
It is a mid/high cabinet specifically designed to be useful in large installations that require high volume and audio quality at a reasonable cost. Hi-sensitivity in the drive units ensure efficiency that results in superb sound pressure levels for a box of its size.
As with all ASYM series, asymmetry in the construction of the cabinet significantly improves the linearity of the response curve produced, giving what appears to be a conventional cabinet a convincing lead in terms of sound quality.

The ASYM 2D2 has a more precise dispersion, 60 x 40 degrees (rotateable), than other ASYM models. This renders it highly adaptable for specific installation environments.

It has numerous flying points and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. The rugged construction combined with simplicity of components ensure the reliability and usability of this speaker.

Ideally the ASYM 2D2 would be used in conjunction with Noise Control Audio's VSB215 or VSB218 sub bass cabinets depending on the space available and depth of sub bass necessitated by the environment.
